First Aid With First Responders

Join us on Friday, March 15 to learn First Aid from First Responders. We will also be completing a service project that will benefit local fire fighters and police officers.

Girls will work with firefighters to learn basic first aid, how to handle choking, signs and treatment for shock and heat/cold related injuries. Police Officers will talk about when to call 911, what you need to say, what to do before first responders arrive and answer any question Girl Scouts might have. They will also assist the girls in building their own pocket first aid kit.

Girl Scouts will also be assembling care packages for local first responders. Kits will contain items such as protein bars, jerky, hand warmers, hand sanitizer and lip balm. If you would like to donate any of these items please SIGN UP HERE.

Daisy will earn their Safety Award

Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes will earn their First Aid badge.

Seniors and Ambassadors are encouraged to attend.

*All badges/pins are INCLUDED in the price of registration!

All attendants will receive a patch.
