This council patch program is designed for girls who don’t want to “press pause” on being Girl Scouts while staying home!

The key to earning this “choose your adventure” style patch is let curiosity be your guide. Follow your interests as you decide which items to complete—and discover great ways to stay involved with Girl Scouts along the way.

Minnesota United Game and Experience

September 7, 2019

Join us for a Minnesota United game and experience. A select number of girls will be able to take part in the first ever non-military/police color guard at the game.

If we can sell 50+ tickets girls will be able to sit on the United bench during warm-ups.

This is a family/friend event.

Winter Workshop 2019

December 7, 2019

Back by popular demand!

Join us for the 2019 Winter Workshop. During this event girls will have the opportunity to create a number of handmade gifts (and wrap them). 

This event is also a great opportunity for older girls (and some adults) to volunteer.

Go-Go Derby 2020

January 11, 2020

Put your car design skills to the test by creating and racing a pine wood race car.

Girl scouts, parents and siblings are invited to take part in the 2020 Go-Go Derby.

Car kits can purchased online or at local hardware stores. Only new cars, that you build yourself from a block of wood, can be raced.

Feed My Starving Children Service Project

March 13, 2020

All Girl Scouts, families and friends are invited to celebrate the Girl Scout organization turning 108 by doing what Girl Scouts do best and serving the community.

We have two time slots available to pack meals. All volunteers are invited to join us for cupcakes between sessions.

Mess Fest @ Home

Since we can't bring you the Mess Fest we want to bring a bit of Mess Fest to you! (Don't worry Mess Fest will still be the theme of Encampment 2021.)

Outdoor Skills Campout

September 28-29, 2019

Join us for the 3rd annual Outdoor Skills Day/Campout. Girls along with their family, friends and/or troop will learn a variety of cooking techniques and sharpen their outdoor skills.

This event has a day only or overnight option.


December 15, 2019

The best way to spread holiday cheer, is by singing loud for all to hear. Join us at one, or both locations.

Thinking Day 2020

Take a break from cookie season and join us for World Thinking Day.

This years theme is "Diversity, Equality and Inclusion".

Participants will earn the 2020 Thinking Day Award.

Chalk Your Walk

April 10-12, 2020

Submit a photo of your 'chalked walk' by April 13 using the button below and we'll send you a patch.

October 27, 2019

Earn your Girl Scout Way badge or the Violet petal while attending a birthday party for our organizations founder Juliette Gordon Low.

We'll celebrate with cupcakes, games, songs and Girl Scout traditions.

I Cookied And Won! Game Show Cookie Rally

January 26, 2020

Gear up for cookie season by participating in 3 game shows!

Girls will be work in teams while they play Family Feud; Win, Lose or Draw; and a round of Making It!

Cookies will be sampled and fun will be had.

C/S/A Global Action Day with Orono Rotary

February 9, 2020

Cadette/Senior/Ambassador event to earn the 2020 Global Action Award and participate in the Orono Rotary's "Days for Girls" Sew-a-thon

This year's Global Action award focuses on gender equality. Part of the event will have girls helping make feminine hygiene kits - don't worry you don't need to know how to sew to help out.
